Charleigh Crain, Head Varsity Coach

Charleigh ("Charlie") Crain grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada playing box lacrosse. She competed in the Canadian Box Lacrosse National Championships representing Team Alberta for 4 years, earning bronze and silver medals. 


Charleigh then played NCAA Division 1 lacrosse at Longwood University in Virginia. While in college, Charleigh was Head Coach of the U19 and U15 Edmonton Razorback's teams, and the Head Coach of Vimy Ridge Academy's travel and recruiting teams. Additionally, Charleigh was an invitee and attendee of Team Canada's training camp in 2015. 


After college, Charleigh was the Women's Lacrosse Director at Vimy Ridge Academy, and continued to coach Vimy Ridge Academy's travel and recruiting teams. Additionally, she coached the U19 and U15 Team Alberta teams, which competed in the Canadian Women's Field Lacrosse National Championships and earned silver medals. 


Throughout her time coaching, Charleigh has assisted numerous young women obtain lacrosse scholarships to play in the NAIA and NCAA Division 1, 2 and 3. Charleigh is passionate about helping young women learn leadership skills, self-discipline, and confidence. Now, Charleigh lives in Fate, Texas with her husband, Eric, and dog, Mable. Charleigh enjoys working as a corporate attorney at Libby Sparks Willis and Starnes, PPLC, long-distance running, playing in the Dallas Women's Lacrosse League, and watching baseball.
